Vickers Export Design 586 for Argentina

While designs 580 and 588 seems to be based on the Town class cruisers, the Design 586 Light Cruiser offered by Vickers was apparently (based on size and armament) a modified and enlarged Arethusa with 5x 6" Guns and 4x 4" Guns and the usual two twin torpedo tubes. But like the previous two designs this too has much larger displacement then the size and armament seems to indicate, though it was stated to have 76mm or 3" Belt armour such large tonnage (almost 7.000tons) would allow not just long range but 3" armour everywhere on the ship from ship ends to deck as well!

The design had these characteristics:
Dimensions: 144,78m (pp) x 14,50m x 5,48m
Displacement: 6.800ons (Standard)
Engines: Unknown probably around 40-45.000shp Steam Turbines, 4 shafts
Speed: 50km/h (27knots)
Range unknown, probably around 14.800km at 30km/h (8.000nm at 16knots)
Armour: Uniform 76mm Belt and Deck everywhere (only 76mm Belt was stated
Armaments:
5x1 6"/50 (152mm/50) Vickers Mk R Guns,
4x1 4"/45 (102mm/45) Vickers Mk K Guns,
1x1 3"/45 (76mm/45) QF HA Mk II AA Guns,
2x2 533mm Torpedo Tubes
