Vickers Export Design 191 for Argentina

Around 1906 When Argentina acquiring Armoured cruisers from Italy, Vickers offered a sort of a Cruiser killer design, a Lightly armoured battleship which was based on the Lord Nelson class Battleships launched around that time armed with 2x 12", 4x 10" and 4x2 7,5" weaponry. As you can see it is almost identical to the Lord Nelsons, except the narrower hull and different armament resulting in a 2.000ton lighter ship. Though the 3 types of weaponry's targeting and spotting could had been a nightmare for the gunners of the ship!

The design had the following characteristics:
Dimensions: 125 (pp) 135,25m (wl) x 22,55 x 7,31m
Displacement: 12.000tons (standard)
Armour: 25mm Deck, 203mm Belt
Engines: 15.500shp, Vertical Triple Expansion Engines, 2 shafts
Speed: 37km/h (20knots)
Armaments:
2x1 12"/45 (306mm/45) Vickers Mk B Cannons,
2x2 10"/50 (254mm/50) Vickers Mk C Guns,
4x2 7,5"/45 (190mm/45) Vickers Mk D Guns,
probably 24x1 3"/50 (76mm/50) Vickers Mk A Guns,
4x1 457mm Underwater Torpedo Tubes
