The True Multipurpose Destroyer

New coloured newer were design but this time a smaller ship, a destroyer but none the less a truly unique design.
Official designation: Project 923 "Granat"
The design study started in the mid/late 1970ies and terminated in early 80's.
The concept was truly unique as it wasn't thought either in the eastern block nor the NATO countries: Guided Missile Helicopter Destroyer Minesweeper (DDGHM)
For this purpose an already existing hull the Project 1155 Fregat the Udlaoy class Destroyer was based upon and the ship to be equipped with a pair of minesweeper equipment, large component of helicopters and weaponry suited for Air defence.
