Kongo Replacement Design 25K Variants

While the Royal Navy wish for a minimal 20.000ton displacement and 12" gun limit on new battleship construction for the 1930 London Naval Treaty, (Despite it's inability to produce such a low displacement design....) it would had accepted the 25.000ton limit and hoped for the USN to agree on this as well (actually the USN preferred the 35.000ton limit and 16", but would agree on 30.000tons and 14" but had little chance for the lower 25.000ton 12" the RN wished for). Japan as the 3rd major player in this game, wished for 30.000tons but would accept the 25.000ton limit but nothing smaller then 14" or 356mm calibre form the main guns.
This is the first design Hiraga Yuzuru proposed on this displacement, with the extra 5.000tons both the armour and armament could be increased considerably. Intended speed was 26knots or 48km/h meaning a likely longer and larger proposal then the other ones in this series.
As usual the only available info is in the link below showing the main armament, number of guns, speed and displacement, hence I have to figure out the rest.

The design had the following characteristics:
Dimensions: unknown (I've used these: 195 (wl) 197,5 (oa) x 28,5 m )
Displacement: 25.000tons (standard)
Armour: unknown probably, around 279mm Belt and 127mm Deck
Engines: around 72.000shp, 3 shafts
Speed: 48km/h (26knots)
Armaments:
4x2 356mm/50 Type 90 Cannons
4x2,8x1 140mm/55 Type 88 Guns (No info on actual number and layout)
4x2 12cm/45 10th Year Type DP-AA Guns
4x1 40mm Type HI AA guns (I've added it to the design)
2x1 61cm Underwater Torpedo Tubes
2-3x Seaplanes (Nakajima E4N)

Similarly to the A version with 4 twin 36cm turrets, The B version was modified to carry 3 triple 36cm turrets which provides a slightly more firepower on a somewhat shorter citadel, though armament weights remains around the same.
For this variant I used the DP-AA layout of the 2-4-4 35K ton version with a twin mount in each of the corners of the superstructure both forward and aft, but this 4 corner layout applies to the secondary 14cm guns as well with 2-2 casemates at each ends on each side while the turreted guns remains as far as possible from the main guns blast radius.
Essentially this design is a bigger sister of the 20K 3x3 30cm variant which shows what you can do with an extra 5.000tons of displacement!

The design had the following characteristics:
Dimensions: unknown (I've used these: 190 (wl) 192,5 (oa) x 28,5 m )
Displacement: 25.000tons (standard)
Armour: unknown probably, around 279mm Belt and 127mm Deck
Engines: around 63.000shp, 3 shafts
Speed: 46km/h (25knots)
Armaments:
3x3 356mm/50 Type 90 Cannons
4x2,8x1 140mm/55 Type 88 Guns (No info on actual number and layout)
4x2 12cm/45 10th Year Type DP-AA Guns
4x1 40mm Type HI AA guns (I've added it to the design)
2x1 61cm Underwater Torpedo Tubes
2-3x Seaplanes (Nakajima E4N)

The final version of the 25.000ton series and the smallest 41cm armed Kongo Preliminary design was variant C. Hiraga thought 25.000tons was the smallest displacement which could carry the 41cm cannons with an adequate armour for the hull hence only two twin turrets.
Still this battleship could take up a fight with any other battleship, with it's smaller size it would be a difficult target and the minimal armoured hull area makes it even more difficult to sink while it's new 41cm cannons could effectively fight any battleship.
I've played with the DP-AA arrangement to make a reminiscent of the future proposals of the Yamato preliminaries like the A-140A1/B etc

The design had the following characteristics:
Dimensions: unknown (I've used these: 186 (wl) 187,5 (oa) x 28 m )
Displacement: 25.000tons (standard)
Armour: unknown probably, around 410mm Belt and 203mm Deck
Engines: around 64.000shp, 3 shafts
Speed: 46km/h (25knots)
Armaments:
2x2 410mm/50 Type 90 Cannons
4x2,8x1 140mm/55 Type 88 Guns (No info on actual number and layout)
4x2 12cm/45 10th Year Type DP-AA Guns
4x1 40mm Type HI AA guns (I've added it to the design)
2x1 61cm Underwater Torpedo Tubes
2-3x Seaplanes (Nakajima E4N)
