Final Kongo Replacement 35K Design X

The final design most advanced in technical detail among the Kongo preliminary designs by Yuzuru Hiraga and the most likely to be ordered if the London Naval Treaty did no compromise new battleship constructions. It was based on the previous 10 gun armed design, but the main armament was distributed among 4 turrets with superfiring triples over twins, secondary armament calibre increased in the final moments from the new 14cm/55 guns to the older but larger 15cm/50 ones in a mixed turreted and casemated layout but as a unique addon that all of these secondary guns even in the casemates would be able to fire at aircraft due to their 75 degrees angle of fire at maximum elevation.

The design had the following characteristics:
Dimensions: 231,65 (wl) x 32 x 9,14 m
Displacement: 35.000tons (standard) 39.200tons (full load)
Armour: 356mm Belt at 20degrees incline, 298mm Slopes and 216mm Deck
Engines: 80.000shp, 4 shafts
Speed: 48-49km/h (26-26,5knots)
Armaments:
2x3,2x2 410mm/50 Type 90 Cannons
4x2,8x1 152mm/50 Type 43 / 43rd year type guns.
4x2 12cm/45 10th Year Type DP-AA Guns
4x1 40mm Type HI AA guns (I've added it to the design)
2x1 61cm Underwater Torpedo Tubes
2-3x Seaplanes (Nakajima E4N)
