Vickers Export Design 248 for Argentina

The Design 248 offered from Vickers in 1906 november was a described as a revised version of the 229 design, by having increased length of 15 meters! this allowed a more spacious hull for the armament to be placed. No engine power was given but the next design was stated to have 20.000shp, and only a few hundred tons heavier implying that it was a turbine powered version of this design. It was also described that there was a novel design choice in this proposal: two large armoured (3inch) range-finder towers which I tried to emulate as I imagine them. Because of the longer hull I decided to create a sort of halfbreed between dreadnought and Lord Nelson.

The design had the following characteristics:
Dimensions: 149,35 (pp) 156 (wl) x 23,93 x 7,31m
Displacement: 17.250tons (standard)
Armour: 25mm Deck, 254mm Belt
Engines: Unknown shp probably 20.000shp, Vertical Triple Expansion Engines, 2 shafts
Speed: 39km/h (21knots)
Armaments:
2x2,2x1 12"/45 (305mm/45) Vickers Mk B Cannons,
4x2 10"/50 (254mm/50) Vickers Mk C Guns,
24x1 4,7"/50 (120mm/50) Vickers Mk A Guns,
4x1 457mm Underwater Torpedo Tubes
